ARE YOU INSURED?
Yes. We carry a $2 million liability insurance policy to protect all parties involved. We’re happy to provide documentation to your venue upon request.
WILL THE DJ ALSO ACT AS THE MC?
Absolutely. Every DJ on our team is professionally trained as an MC and is comfortable managing announcements, coordinating key moments, and maintaining the flow of the evening. If you are working with an additional MC, we’re happy to collaborate seamlessly.
WHO WILL BE OUR DJ?
We offer three ways to structure your entertainment team, depending on what feels most comfortable for you.
1. You Choose Your DJ
After booking, you’ll be able to review the available DJs on our team, including bios, background, and style, and select the one who feels like the best fit for your celebration.
2. We Curate the Perfect Match
Many couples prefer to have Paul personally select the DJ who best fits their vision, guest dynamic, and venue. Every DJ on our team is trained in-house and works exclusively within the Paul Michaels Events standard — we are not a booking agency placing random contractors.
3. Guarantee DJ Paul Michaels
If you would like DJ Paul Michaels personally to perform at your wedding, that option is available for an additional fee, subject to availability.
We’ll discuss these options in detail during your consultation so you can choose what feels right.
WILL THE DJ TAKE REQUESTS AT MY EVENT?
That’s entirely up to you. If you’re open to requests, we ensure they align with your overall vision and keep the dance floor energy strong. If you prefer a curated approach, we’ll honor that as well.
WHEN SHOULD WE BOOK OUR DJ?
We recommend booking as early as possible, especially for peak wedding dates. Most couples reserve their date 6 to 12 months in advance, with high-demand Saturdays filling quickly.
